I don't think Pant will do much here, but why bother persisting with Karthik in 2018?India need to give Pant and Samson chances to play test cricket

Disagree, the 2014 series was 1-1 after three tests and 2012 was amazing.Should have given Pakistan at least a three test series, these five test series with India no matter the destination are never that good.
Well only once has a team won 3-2 after 0-2.Disagree, the 2014 series was 1-1 after three tests and 2012 was amazing.
And hey there's still time for things to change in this one. But not in this match.
Only series that has been close was us winning over there when Cook, Pietersen, Swann, Panesar and Anderson basically did it all themselves.Should have given Pakistan at least a three test series, these five test series with India no matter the destination are never that good.
A little is an understatement, batting under the lights on the first day, in the rain, on a green pitch whilst bowling in the sun on day 2 with absolutely nothing of a first innings score! However the first test is what eventually lead to this, like in SA.India have got a little unlucky with conditions this Test. I still think they'd have lost but they've got the worst of it for sure.
As big as toss to win as imaginable.
Haha, would've never thought it was possible do worse than 90s but here we are. At least post 1996, Dravid and Ganguly had arrived on the scene!India 2018 in England beats 90s **** shows.
Yeah, could play a 2 test series at Edgbaston and Headingley. Would probably be better supported than some England games are. Surprised a neutral venue series hasn't been played over the years.could have always found time for a pak v india test or 2
These last 3 tours to England have been worse than anything in the 90s imo.Haha, would've never thought it was possible do worse than 90s but here we are. At least post 1996, Dravid and Ganguly had arrived on the scene!
Yeah, definitely. Then again, England had the likes of Mullally, Irani and Min Patel in the '90s..These last 3 tours to England have been worse than anything in the 90s imo.
Yeah I agree. He seems to adapt his game between formats quicker than the rest. For someone who's so agressive he has decent judgement outside off. Worth persevering for sure. There is a Test player somewhere in Pandya. He gets the whole series for sure for me.
Yeah he's never going to be great in England or SA but he can contribute there and should be good in Asia + Aus (with the bat he is a 5th seamer with ball - which does reduce his value).Yeah I agree. He's decent 5th bowler material but defs not 3rd seamer worthy unless we're in the SC.Pandya can't bowl though.
