We saw towards the end of yesterday that by the time the quicks entered their second and third spells it became easier to negotiate them. I rather Hardik just do more of what he did in the first innings and try to eat up balls and time. Runs will come in a slow drip. There is no batting left after this, one more wicket and then Hardik/Kohli will need to farm the strike and have a swing and hope for the best

Hardik gets squared up to anything short of a length that moves away but atleast he's playing it relatively late.

Hardik is in the team as an all rounder. If Kohli has to farm the strike at 6 down, it's a lost cause. Gotta trust him to bat properly.
