Could Ishant become the luckiest guy to play 100 tests? He's not bowling poorly but been thinking that.

If he makes it I'd put him as comfortably the worst to do so. Not exactly a terrible position to be in though, and he has been better over the past couple of years.

Sure but I can't think of anyone else of similar quality to play 100 tests.

Massive coaching failure. Kumble and Shastri deserve a lot of blame for this.

It is some thing which you have to really work on to get right but it's one of the key aspects, so not working on it is plain criminal in cricketing terms. I remember Dhawan on first slip few tests back, dropped one and was changed. It's dire how they have treated this aspect so callously.

Probably. Got a lot of Tests early on purely on potential and lack of other options. He's been pretty solid since 2014/15 tho

Ashwin actually bowling pretty well but I would like to see Shank get a shot with the new ball. Ishant losing his line to Root atm

Ashwin bowling the 7th over on Day 1 is still not a very good start for India's new ball attack. Bhuvi being missed big time here. After bowling so well for a year and a half, the one series he should have saved himself for, he gets ruled out.

Pretty good value considering they'll be giving him an obscene amount of overs this innings i'm sure.
