That was some ball. Murali would've been proud of that - who needs Harbhajan, Sehwag's an added-value allrounder now!

India favourites - Tadpole has to stick around now, and Ramdin has to show that the NZ brain explosions were no more than aberrations...
Almost in the Michael Clarke class now.

/Token sop to bring the Aussies into the conversation just in case they forget what cricket is over the next few months

Normally I prefer to see myself as a peacemaker, but I'm too stubborn to back down here. Dhoni should have recognised the fact there was no evidence, consulted with the umpires, taken Ganga's work, <insert Latin legal jargon>, and walke...

Nah, I'll just leave it there.
a) Ganga's word = I'm not sure
b) Dhoni was walking back but Dravid told him to remain
c) Dhoni eventually walked even though he didn't have to

Give it up ... as Sanz said, we've beaten this to death already.

Again, my sarcastic tone is lost through cyberspace.

My final word on this utter waste of time -

If Dhoni should have been given not out and a six registered on the grounds that 'no-one was sure', why the hell a couple of hours ago was that near-boundary where the fielder possibly brushed the boundary rope at the same time as the ball made contact with his shirt not signalled as a four?

After all, we couldn't be sure, therefore the benefit of the doubt by some people's reckoning should have been given to the batsman - if we apply the same logic.

Get out of that.

18 overs left, 145 needed, can they get them. or will they have to settle for the draw?
Maybe he will go for the win. And tragically thus lose the match. No point going for a draw...

In the middle of such heated debate and Dave smashing Kumble around, how random was that?
Does having short hair help you to keep your cool in a heated debate?

Should Dravid take the new ball?
Yes - if Munaf & Sreesanth can't break through immediately, the spinners won't mind the extra bounce from it. Nothing to lose by taking it.
