Haha the best thing is the fact that they actually refuse to list more than ten just because of how absurd it gets after that. They used to actually admit that was the reason on the site and everything.

I'm sure it's possible to improve the formula, but it's also just that in the end it comes down to valuable contributions. I don't have a problem with Dale Steyn being on the list.
I guess it just proves how difficult it is to get team selections right. There's always going to be that trade off between bowling and batting.

I'm not of the opinion that India have a capable 5th bowler likely to improve their chances of taking 20 wickets. Certainly not an all-rounder. I'd prefer then to bat with the above and play Ashwin/Yadav/Mishra/Ishant.

Yeah the main difference being that Ishant is better than Ishant, Ashwin is just better than Jadeja was, and 2 of Umesh/Mishra/Bhuvi is better than old, fat Zaheer and the crap that Shami has bowled lately.
I do have hopes that Shami will rediscover his mojo and take over from Ishant.
