Same WISDEN called him the best ever batsman since Don.So how many actual match winning innings has SRT played?
Wisden reckons none.

Can see potential bevan in raina....Too early though.....

Avatar bet anyone? I predict an Indian win tomorrow.. unless play is called off before a result can be enforced due to rain/etc...Loser to sport avatar till end of tri series. Anyone interested?
Will get you one before the day ends.I'll take that bet.
Today's innings was a matchwinning innings sunshine. Add to that the unbeated 53 against Pakistan in 2007 winter. Plus of course the sterling 100* against England. Well, almost everytime we have had to chase anything of note in the 4th innings in the last few years, he has come good.Doesn't make him a match winning batsman.
Haha,Who was more critical to this win, Sehwag for his run a ball 1st innings ton, which gave us time, or Laxman's brilliant 5th day ton?
Pressure knocks win matches.Who was more critical to this win, Sehwag for his run a ball 1st innings ton, which gave us time, or Laxman's brilliant 5th day ton?
Laxman for sure IMO.Who was more critical to this win, Sehwag for his run a ball 1st innings ton, which gave us time, or Laxman's brilliant 5th day ton?

Team effort. Sehwag's 100 in the first innings, Laxman's hundred, Sachin's 50, the tail's efforts in the first innings, Sehwag's and the other spinners' spell on the 3rd innings etc.Who was more critical to this win, Sehwag for his run a ball 1st innings ton, which gave us time, or Laxman's brilliant 5th day ton?
4th innings performance is not the only criteria to judge playing under pressure.Averages 36 in the 4th innings. Says it all really.
Thats right Francois.Averages 36 in the 4th innings. Says it all really.
Hey dude whats your problem....yes Sachin is not a Match winner .....What now....Stop trolling...Doesn't make him a match winning batsman.

What does Laxman average in the 4th innings? Before this 100, after as well...No?
Most would say it is the most important criterion though.
Saying Laxman has more BMT than SRT is trolling? It's an opinion.Hey dude whats your problem....yes Sachin is not a Match winner .....What now....Stop trolling...
Those same nobodies on the interwebz, yes, you do have a point. No?
Most would say it is the most important criterion though.
