India channelling Watson/Katich/Hughes wrt running ATM.

So surprisinig how many dreadful runners there are, um, running around. Or ambling in some cases.

The pressure of the run rate is getting to them.

It is already low ,so they can't afford too many dot balls.

Comment on Cricinfo-

Arkesh: "This is a throwback to the early 90s ODIs. A "healthy runrate of 3.4 per over", with Kapil Dev still to come. India looks like it's on song."

MSD of the old here.. looking to smash it. I can't blame him really. Would be awesome if it were to come off.

I've thought about it over a bowl of pasta.

Would drop Sachin for the rest of the series in punishment for running out Kohli.

Perhaps worth threatening his career in fact.

No one runs out Kohli without punishment. Not even Sachin.

Kallis never ran out Kohli. It's settled.

Considering SA are light on batting (length wise) I think we can make a match out of a 230-240ish score.

Yusuf Pathan?

Why is he being discussed, and what's he saying?
Yeah, Yusuf Pathan. They were just talking about India's batting lineup and how Yuvraj needed to be on his toes heading into the World Cup because Yusuf (who - according to Haysman - isn't playing in this series because he wouldn't last against the Kookaburra Telegraph in these conditions and isn't as good a bowler as Yuvraj) "dominates on flat tracks" and will be in the frame.

He basically just said, in as nice and as wordy a way as possible, that he was flat-track bully hack of a player who he didn't really rate, but might play the WC anyway. It was amusing. :p

Dhoni batting hatless.

So wrong. Something should ALWAYS be on your head when batting in cricket. It's just the way it is.

Hard to know what sort of score India have in mind.

Nice cut over backward point from Yuvi as I type, so the acceleration might be starting.

Impressive opening spell from Sotters, be interesting to see what he comes back like.

& Botha's action. How isn't it a chuck? Filthy, IMHO.

I've decided I'm sold on Lopsy. Impresssed me against Pakistan but has continued to do the damage against a top side, quality bowling.
