DWTA massively but I've had this debate a thousand times so I don't really want to have it again now. :p

And yeah, people always bring that one up. And I agree, even though it was one of the most hilarious match-saving innings you'll ever see. They draw a blank after that though.
Yeah, Dhoni has pretty much 3-4 pressure knocks. None of them exceedingly brilliant or anything. But tbf, Coming in at 7 in SA is a different proposition to doing it in Ind/SL. He does an awesome job of murdering adequately good bowling in high soring first Innings coming in at 400+ which is a scenario which happens much more often to him than coming in at 25/5 and I wouldn't swap the latter with the former if I could because of aforementioned reason.

Agree that Dhoni is a dire pressure bat though.

If memory serves me right, Australia chased down three hundred at this very ground back sometime back. No reason why India can't do the same.
Yeah I agree with you there. While I don't think India is the best side in the world, I think they definately have the best batting line-up. Given that, and the fact the lead is still only 210, the mass hysteria shown here isn't really warranted. India still have a good chance here.

The Wheel is Forever
I've had to watch the Indian feed, the Aussie feed, the SA feed and the Sky Sports feed.

It's not even contest in terms of production quality, the quality of the commentators, and just all around enjoyment of watching the game. Sky Sports is dominating - they're on par with NFL broadcasts in the US.

On the other hand, Indian broadcasts are just beyond control. BCCI should lay down some minimum criteria. I would not watch cricket on tv if I were in India.

Haha mass hysteria?

We're criticising Dhoni, the captain for poor decisions. We're not making Herald Sun front page covers with:

Have the right to pick our bones.

Next time Indian fans are called fanboys I'm gonna quote this ****

URRRG The Australian media doesn't represent Australians. Cringe worthy stuff.
Wow, where the hell did I suggest it did? I live here too.

I am saying we're not being media-like (which is what the term 'mass hysteria' intimates) with our criticism, we're being fair.

Haha, quite. So under-rated is Tendulkar; never gets enough credit, particularly in his own country.
Yes, woe is him indeed. Verily, only when his time has passed shall India truly know what a titan they had in their midst. Only, when he departs into the anonymity of retirement shall they see what has been but an inch from their noses.

Funnily enough even in real people have said my sarky comments are a bit too dry. The above might be a bit too over the top though.

Disclaimer: I think Sachin is a fabulous player.
Disclaimer for the disclaimer: I neither state, nor have any opinion of where he ranks in relation to any other batsmen of this or any other era.

Wasn't intended as a criticism of your post, just general disgust for Australian media.
