Bouncy track should work in Sreesanth's favour. Seems to be some swing on offer too. However, a good performance here will not, imo, turn a corner for him. He may take ten in this match, and I hope he does, but he will still be an incredibly inconsistent bowler incapable of stringing two performances together. If conditions assist, Sreesanth can turn around a corner. Will give him another go.
Heh pretty much. "Could have been a lot worse" just sums up our way of thinking atm doesn't itThat was South Africa's session, but India wouldn't be too disappointed. It could have been a lot worse than seventy-four for two.
I hope we can put up somewhat of a fight, here. Morkel/Steyn to Tendulkar/Dravid is a sight to see, especially in these conditions. It is honestly the pinnacle of Test cricket. I've only seen a few overs, but am I right in saying that 300 would be a good score on this pitch?Great over by Morkel !!!

Nah, it is fair enough. 74/2 having been put in on a quick, bouncy surface and two blokes bowling 140kph, one being a giant and the other being world number one - I think any team would acknowledge that it could have been worse.Heh pretty much. I say three hundred is an absolute must (especially with India's bowling). Anything less than that and we might as well kiss the chances of us winning the match/series goodbye.I hope we can put up somewhat of a fight, here. Even pending a good performance, I do not think Sreesanth is in our best possible side.Only Steyn got the right lenth on this match so far (and Kallis too but he wasn't troubling anyone). Morkel seems to be having a hard time adapting to the bounce.
Oh and thank god Chet Pujara was picked! Finally our best possible team (apart from maybe Gambhir out for Vijay) is out on the field. I'm hoping for 300-350
Yeah I'm not a big fan of Sree either but for now I'm just being a touch lenient due to the pitch becoming totally flat after the first day in Centurion. If he doesn't perform here then most other pacers would make a serious case of a test spot. I honestly felt that Munaf Patel would have been a good 3rd seamer in SA conditions. He's very consistent and that's what you want from your 3rd seamer.Even pending a good performance, I do not think Sreesanth is in our best possible side.
India may have trouble with Harris on this pitch, especially if they get too defensive.I hope India can somehow get through Steyn's spell without losing a wicket in next session.. although thats a tough task but we do have 2 guys playing right now who are capable of doing it.
