Only downside here is that the weather on the Highveld is making watching DSTV impossible and Im having to do with the dire SABC coverage :@

And the fact that only 3 balls were left until tea makes even worse. I hope someone hit him when he got back to the locker room

He had played so well too. It would've been the second-best innings (after the big ton against Sri Lanka) in his career IMO.

Very very poor performance by India

SA have bowled ok but really havent bowled that many wicket taking deliveries

The pitch maps say it all - lot of wide and/or short stuff. Unfortunately the batting has been characterised by ill discipline or poor technique

Stupid shot by Mahendra, but if everyone had batted like him, India wouldn`t have been in that position in the first place.

I think it was a great shot, tbh. I guess it all comes down to perspective :)

Hard work done, tea arriving, rain in the air and a test match to save and he throws the bat hard at a ball he didnt have to play without moving his feet. The man is a genius
