Abject, Charles. Absolutely pathetic from India.

Vihari should be ashamed of the lower order and how they "stuck it out". Pant, abject. Ashwin, pointless.

Oh and that article in Cricinfo about Pant's shot is just the type of pathetic overanalysis I expect from writers with a clear axe to grind. It was a garbage shot, don't justify it.

Indian fans really protective over their seamers now days. Just because they now have a decent attack they want special treatment. How dare a batsman back away half way into his run up when he has a sore hamstring!
They spent most of the week with their feet up and we should all feel sorry for them because they each had to bowl 20 overs an innings.
Well done sa for getting under their skin and bringing the prima donna"s down a peg or two. Shame England couldn't do the same in the summer
Well said Tom

Congrats to SA. Fantastic chase. The $50 win is a small consolation for me. I basically never bet against India but I could just tell yesterday they were mentally shot and didn't have a plan. Plus Dean Elgar
I won around $100.
It looked as though without Virat playing and an inexperienced captain taking over, along with siraj going down, India would need things to go their way to win. The match seemed to be 60-40 in SA favor but odds were 3/2 for SA. Too good to not bet on.

As for the Indian bowling, it was a shocking effort, they should have made it a lot harder to score 240. I just feel that SA batting is very settled against Indian bowlers atm. At least 4 of the 5 SA batsmen are in form and are looking solid and likely to hurt India again next test. Need to try Yadav & Ishant next test, otherwise I expect a repeat from SA! And will keep a keen eye on the odds which will wrongly keep backing India when SA are now favourites to win imho.

I think we should stop counting Bumrah as our bowler in main matches.

He gives up more easily than Afghanistan Army against Taliban in crucial games.
A bit harsh the analogy is funny. However Siraj is an utter **** so it's good to see someone making him hiss like stressed cat. Well done SA. Didn't think they had the rhind to win this.

India tours of SA are never boring though they always end in crushing Indian disappointment. Dhoni spreads the field to boucher,Steyn bops Shami, Elgar screws us, Spark gets content, etc.
you're forgetting the kallisball game, that ridiculous steyn spell, the sreesanth game etc

Cape Town reminds me of 2011 when Dhoni *****d up and match ended in a draw.

I wouldn’t rule out another draw … it doesn’t have to be a totally result-oriented pitch.

Great win for South Africa. India were ordinary with the ball on a challenging wicket but Shami looks cooked and bowling Siraj when the game was done seemed rather cruel. Vihari could have bowled.

Don’t think South Africa will add an extra batsman for Cape Town. More likely Linde or Mulder coming in for Maharaj as opposed to Rickelton debuting.

Umesh has to play in Cape Town I think. Don't mind Ishant as well although he has lost pace but seems like our bowlers have no idea how to take out Elgar & Ishant is definately an option. Siraj is done for the series. Purane scored runs so there's that. Golden opportunity for SAF.
