Shami is really only good in the SC and maybe in RSA. I would rather play Siraj ahead of Shami if Siraj is fit. Prasidh with his height should have been tried in tests at some point. Ideally one swing bowler in Chahar/Shardul/Bhuvi for tests in SENA, except maybe Aus, one tall bowler in Ishant/Prasidh, one skiddly guy in Siraj/Shami/Umesh and Bumrah should be our ideal combination.
Yeah but without him you wont have your awesome 6th bowler.
You would love JJ Smuts! Seriously though, I really don't care about that... particularly when I`m more concerned about the Test team than the LO team.
SA always has good all-rounders. Don't know what's the secret.
Still don't think that is going to help his mental issues and/or his test issues. At this stage we trying to accommodate a very talented player in various positions, but at other players expense, is that fair or right? Particularly when it feels like lots of his issues are in his head? I don't know.
With Sundar Axar not fit.. Selectors have gone for him. R Sai Kishore is way better & did well with both bat & ball in VHT & TNPL. But sadly Missed out.
