Defending such behaviour is not a surprise for the crowd here. Still embarrassing though
Action should be taken against Kohli & co for their behaviour. Most people are not defending that(at least they are not serious). People have every right to question consistently dodgy decisions.

Whatever it takes!!!
The best part of Virat's antics is all the salt we get to see from the usual crowd too. Its embarrassing but also not funny nowadays.

Bucknor definitely would got his ass shoved with stump had Virat been captain in Sydney 2008.
Surely, I was not happy with the team's handling of that situation. They should have been more open in their criticism of the entire debacle. They conducted themselves well on the ground as they should have, but kept this nice guy face on in press conferences instead of tearing someone a new "haghness"(tm).

Hawkeye estimation of projectile physics >>>> human estimation of projectile physics. Which is not to say the former is perfect, but a little more humility is a bit in order when it throws up an unexpected result, particularly if it's not
one of the known weaknesses of the system
It's incorrect to think that the reaction was purely based on that one decision. It was a collective thing, dodgy DRS, broadcasters not showing the replays on time to give us more assurances of the decisions, broadcasters being shitty in general, etc.

Like I have already said, I do agree that there should be action taken against the on-field behaviour and this should not happen again. But ICC should also take a close look at the broadcaster.

Feels like SA will knock off 40+ runs in the first hour as the bowling shakes off their rust and SA will cruise it from there

But what you’re saying presumes the DRS is “dodgy”. Are you seriously saying it’s been deliberately cooked against India, because that’s laughable tbh. You’re better than that mate

its about the events leading up to it. cameras are only on opposition fielders in sa when they shine the ball and it has been for decades

they play with no honor in addition to 12/13 players i.e. camera crew/umpires (before drs) in their team's pockets

its a bit like how aus used to play at home with print media sucking their team off during series etc but worse because they get constantly get match referees involved because they cannot simply win in the field without distractions

This has been the most interesting Test series of this summer thus far.
Really enjoyed how competitive it is, great cricket and some nice pressure performances too.

With regards to Kohli antics, I cannot see how anyone can justify this? Every saying Kohli's noise is "good" even though its childish... so accusing the umpires/decision making system/hosts broadcasters of bias/slash cheating because you didn't get a 50/50 call is hilarious to me. Ignoring the precedent this kind of stuff sets is whats dangerous to me.

You heard Michael Vaughn say it in the commentary earlier, you just cannot behave like that cause a decision didn't go your way, funnily enough the only guy in that box at the time who was a Test captain. Warne turned into heat of the moment/emotional merchant he tends to be when discussing behaviour, which is what I seem to be seeing with some of these comments.

Another thing, which everyone seems to be going off (Warne etc included) is that to the "naked eye" it looked out.... are people still thinking the "naked eye" is still the same as it was before? DRS has proven this time and time again, we need to start changing our idea of what we think "looks" out/not out. Ironically spinners have benefitted the MOST with DRS this so a marginal call like that being the tipping point for some sort of conspiracy is PURE tantrum stuff.

It's a shame cause the cricket and on field stuff has been really good to watch, and we can already see the post match narratives in the works.

Lots of swing on offer. Hope this results in a wicket soon. Preferably of Keegan Petersen. He's already got 121 runs this game without being dismissed.

Who the cameras are on is irrelevant to whether drs is being cooked though. Come on.

Though it’s pretty funny seeing the saltiness from all those supporters who laughed at Warner cracking the shits over there back in 2018

Very poor bowling this morning, reminiscent of the 2nd innings in the previous test where they were trying for magic deliveries to get wickets and looking frustrated whenever beating the bat as though they deserved a wicket each time.

Yea bowled some beauties but have been too straight or too full at times. Haven't consistently put in on a good length.
