Great win SA. A lot of promise in this side.

India, hmm. Something like this was very much bound to happen, no attack can carry a top five that poor in terms of its current output indefinitely.

Mr. Glass
can't wait for kohli to come back and our bowlers to turn up with no galaxy brain ideas

these bowlers have carried us for 3 years and i can understand them not showing up for once

it should be 2-1 in cape town

Very disappointing bowling performance but have to give a ton of credit to SA. Rabada's aggression yesterday was key but 240 should still be enough on this kind of pitch. India's pacers bar Thakur were meh to terrible all test but SA batted seriously well. Elgar and Markram's start yesterday was crucial. Losing Siraj early in the test was kinda brutal because he looked unplayable for a few overs and after the injury was a shell of himself. Simply shouldnt have been on the field afaic. Top performance by SA. Peterson's knocks in both innings quite crucial as well and might get lose in the Elgar love (well deserved Elgar love).

Good series this. Hope Kohli comes back with his intent magic and wins it.

Whatever it takes!!!
Amazing knock from Elgar. And I think Markram is going to be the forgotten hero in this chase. His knock set the game up. And the new KP was awesome too. Quality chase and Elgar reminds what good old fashioned opening batting is all about. He failed last time but a sweet sweet win this time to make up for it. The pace bowling quartet were really good too and they shared the load beautifully. India could have run away with the game yesterday and they did not allow it to happen and then come back brilliantly today to seal the deal.

Rahul is a listless captain in IPL. I dunno what the management sees in him to be the heir apparent across formats. The field placements, the bowling changes, they all sucked. How any captain can go without a short leg for the entire game to seamers on this track I will never know. And he did not have a gully for long periods too. Kept a guy in the covers who was useless. Kept another guy at midwicket who hardly ever fielded the ball. Very disappointing result even with just 4 fit bowlers, this should not have been this easy for South Africa.

Umesh should come in next game for Siraj but jeez Bumrah looked terrible. Nightmare test for Indians as Pujara & Rahane scored & we lost. SA should be favorites at New Lands.

Fantastic knock from Elgar and really good batting overall on a tough surface.

Well deserved win.

India’s attack has been carrying us for ages now. This innings was comfortably the worst I’ve seen them bowl. Rubbish field placings didn’t help either.

I mean, I am all for a bit of niggle on the field but surely stopping an injured bowler in his delivery stride is overdoing it?

I still think the WTC finals was the worst but this is up there. One thing is that its harder with just 4 bowlers.
