Pandya's test strike rate was 107 before this match. He's scoring at about 120 now. Kid can bat.

Pandya is going to be such a huge asset for India going forward if he plays like this in tests. Incredible knock, especially given the circumstances.

I hope Pandya punches anyone who tries to give him batting advice in the dressing room, especially Kohli.

Amazing stuff, the communication between Pandya and Bhuvi was amazing (for those who can understand hindi). Pandya is such a find. IF ONLY WE HAD RAHANE AND UMESH/ISHANT instead of the passengers we are carrying now things could be so much better. This was a pitch where India could have had a win since it brings their bowlers into play, but we screwed it hard with the selection yesterday.

Lol, just because he has scored 80 runs in an innings once after a lolly drop from Elgar and a missed stumping against an old ball on session 2 of day 2 which is the best time to bat at Newlands?

Nah let me get this straight - I'm not convinced by Pandya's batting yet - not good enough for a permanent batting all-rounder. Don't get carried on. His bowling is mediocre - so if he wants to be permanent in this team he has to score centuries regularly in all conditions. He has to average 40 in the long-run - which I don't see him doing unless he improves.

Is there a reason why you are not mentioning the name of the bowlers he faced? :P

My comment was in jest though, obviously he is far from having a good technique, but he is a fighter for sure.

This is what Sehwag did to bowlers in those days and changed the match within one session. Glad that Hardik doing the same although not at the beginning but still it will count.

Is there anywhere online that someone in England can watch this Test without recourse to dodgy streams?

Definitely regretting jumping ship from Sky Sports to BT Sport for the Ashes :@
