The other two changes India made were fine I think -- Rahul is more likely to get runs here than Dhawan, and Saha was injured so that's fine.

Completely overshadowed by the abortion of a change that is Ishant in for Bhuvi though, and I guess the non-change of Rahane in for .. anyone.

I think Ishant could be the game changer for India
I don't oppose the fact that he came in so much as the fact that he came in for Bhuvi. If there's extra bounce and you want to play Ishant then fine, but replace your fourth best, third best or second best bowlers before your best one FFS.

While we're on this topic, do you know if Malan ever went there? I know he didn't graduate there, but I had a family friend tell me a few weeks back that he attended for a little while and couldn't find any record of it.

Bhuvi is the most well-rounded bowler of the side. We'll have to wait and see how Ishant performs, but he shouldn't have been in the team in place of Bhuvi, especially considering the fact that he has also been contributing with the bat.

Bhuvi is pretty versatile aswell, he attacks the batsmen when there is some swing on offer and switches to tight lines on pitches that offer no help. He shouldn't have missed out such a crucial game.

Dawid ?

He went to Paarl Boys in the Boland near Cape Town.

Mainly a rugby area.

Although Hilton College (a boarding school) is a massive rugby school too producing Gary Teichmann and Bob Skinstad.

Thing about Hilton is that it is so big it has its own postal code. The most expensive high school in SA.

Disasterous selections.

Road of a pitch and losing the toss.

Kohli can't get a single thing right at the moment.

I can see SA scoring 450-500 and then India crumbling under pressure.

My second cousin went to Hilton College; he tried to tell me Malan went there, but didn't graduate there (graduated somewhere else) and so it's not listed anywhere online. It always seemed like a weirdly specific and pointless thing to lie about so I didn't know what to believe.
