My argument is just that his statistical record isn't an accurate reflection of the quality of his batting and runs in comparison to Amla, Clarke and Sanga. That's all. The bloke's obviously an absolute gun.
Yeah this is where I stand as well. I don't think he's a "downhill skiier" as such; he's just as capable of playing an important innings as the next world class batsman. I do think, though, that because he's been confronted with more "frontrunning" situations than the other top bats in the last few years, run-scoring has been easier for him overall and his record has been slightly inflated in comparison to the likes of Sanga, Clarke, Amla and Chanderpaul.
