There are questions over Steyn's action? Heard some stuff when he had just come into the team, haven't heard much after that. It's deliveries like that that make people question Steyn's action IMO.

It's a very small minority that comment on it. The ball he sent down before the De Villiers fumble and run out mayhem looked 'different' to meThere are questions over Steyn's action? Heard some stuff when he had just come into the team, haven't heard much after that.
If such rules are implemented, the teams will have to select the replacement player before the start of the game, so mostly it has to be an allrounder to make sure he can cover up any area according to the situation.tbh I don't even think that's the issue. The main issue would be who the replacement would be and the selection process surrounding that player.
Would just be the 12th man surely?tbh I don't even think that's the issue. The main issue would be who the replacement would be and the selection process surrounding that player.
Some people confuse Steyn with Johan Botha. There are questions over Steyn's action? Heard some stuff when he had just come into the team, haven't heard much after that.
Then depending on the situation an injury to a player may result in an advantage for the team carrying the injured player, which is just ridiculous imo. Imagine if your 12th man is a batsmen, and one of your bowlers gets hurt while batting in the 4th innings in a close chase. Opposition would feel pretty hard done by.Would just be the 12th man surely?

12th men don't really exist for the touring side do they?Would just be the 12th man surely?
In that case I think the best way to do it would be to nominate one guy along with the starting 11 to fill in in the event of serious injury.12th men don't really exist for the touring side do they?
There should be some solution to it, maybe picking 2 guys, a bowler and a batsmen and replacing them accordingly would do. If someone from the top 7(batting order) gets injured replace him with a batsmen or else replace with a bowler. Then depending on the situation an injury to a player may result in an advantage for the team carrying the injured player, which is just ridiculous imo. Yeah, I guess you could always pick an all-rounder type to cover injuries. SA could go with McLaren and India could go with Jadeja. In that case I think the best way to do it would be to nominate one guy along with the starting 11 to fill in in the event of serious injury.
Yeah, he's been unlucky to get only 1 wicket today.Philander having no luck today.
The fact he did well last game and they didn't want to make a hard call.I don't get what was SA's logic for selecting Tahir this match ?
