Yeah not out, I was wrong. I think he may have actually nicked his thigh pad with his bat at about the same time the ball hit it. Thigh pad on bat creating that "woody" sound.

You can just imagine Michael Holding sitting in his house with a big cheesy grin feeling vindicated about his ridiculous rant in England re: how Philander should be bowling first change with Morkel opening.
