Personally I am looking forward to it. It might be three series in three years but let's not forget that there was very little test cricket played between India and Pakistan in the decade before. So think of it as making up for lost time. Furthermore both sides are playing good cricket so it should be a fascinating contest.

I think Pakistan start off as favorites especially in the one-day game. If I had to predict I would say 4-1 in the ODI's and 1-1 in the tests but a wide range of results is possible.

for me in this series India has the better test side IMO since Pakistan still aren't sure what is the best combination at test level. So if India dont beat them in the tests, Pakistan can really hurt them in the ODI's...

This series will be better than the previous to IMO. (Its hard to believe it can get any better) Both teams will be on a high (Pakistan showing a good performance against England and India against Sri Lanka) Both teams are building strong squads for the world cup and have all their players fit.
BTW I think the annual series should be dropped to. It should be like the Ashes. If they still want to play ODI's or 20-20 they could try it in Sharjah with other countries or something.

I dont think playing 5 tst matches will be good for the viewers IMO....i think it should stay as 3 tests and 5 ODIs but only every 2years.

I am sooo not watching this stupid series. I simply don't care anymore. The horse is dead. Even the worms are full. Bury the ****er and don't play so often. Watching stupid teams like zimbabwae and bangladesh go at it is much more fun at this point.

Well it will always be a fun series.......the form of the current teams wont depend to such a large extent when it comes to India and Pakistan, i dont care if India or Pakistan lose/win there current matches , becuase it will be a totally different scenario when they face each other.

My prediction for tests: 2-1 to pak..........For ODI: 4-1 to pakistan.

4: Inzamam-ul-Haq
5: Mohammad Yousuf
6: Shoaib Malik
7: Shahid Afridi

That should be it. For ODI drop kaneria and bring back sami.

Pacer short IMO. Whilst its tempting to have both Razzaq and Afridi in the team, you need another specialist fast bowler. Razzaq's bowling at test level won't be enough to cover that IMO.

True, maybe we dont need Razzaq. Either sami or Shabbir (if ready to bowl by that time?) one of them can replace Razzaq.

yeah, pak has lots of options, so why bother with controversial guys like shoaib malik and shabbir ahmed when you have razzaq, sami, kamal etc waiting in the wings.
