Very, very possible - but knowing the fickle nature of the Pakistan side, I wouldn't be surprised to see them come storming back.

....don't forget ....the complacent nature of the indian side can, alone, lose a match for team india...

but i think that some of the indian fans are being too disrespectful to the pakistani side......the indians outplayed them during the course of 4 days and they deservedly won......but some of the comments made on this forum are totally out of order.....

i will say once again that 2 more matches to go........overconfidence and complacency can be the downfall.....the indian fans should enjoy this win and not indulge in mudslinging.

They should not get carried away and relax because this Pakistan team is capable of bouncing back and it has at least 4 proven match winners in Shoaib, Sami, Inzimam and Youhana. Next two matches are in Lahore and at Pindi (hometown of Shoaib) and take it from me it's not going to be easy for our team in next two matches.

and
2-1 win for Ind in test

It means hmmm, Sehwag should not have been dropped 4 times, Pakistanis should not have bowled pies to the Indian batsmen and the batters should have shown soem backbone, willpower and committment. Ohh and also it means Inzi should not treat his depression with 9 course meals but try to improve his leadership and pay attention to the fact that tactics and strategy are not types of soups.

They're such an inconsistent lot that 2-1 to Pakistan wouldn't surprise me, but neither would 3-0.

A 3-0 to India looks more likely, though i think it would be like 2-0 to India.

Pakistan simply can't win the series, for that they desperately need help of "patriotic home umpires" (which is unavialable) they need a bowler that can actually bowl out Indian team twice in one match (again not possible) and they need batsmen who can score runs rather than fearing the sight of Irfan Pathan.

To be fair, Inzi did play well on his home town and was unlucky to have been given out.

Players often do perform well on hometown, however i don't think Akhter can actually trouble the best batting lineupin the world.When guys like Jason, Bracken and Brett failed to trouble Indian batsmen then how can Akhter trouble them?

Pakistan haven't actually played well as a team in this entire ODI/Test series (so far).Their bowling has been pathetic and their fielding is not even upto club standad, but their biggest drawback is the captaincy of Inzamam , who is totally uninspiring and often seems to be clueless as captain.


I don't see how Pakistan can bounce back especially after that demoralizing defeat, they don't have someone who can lift the spirits.I think this series will be a disaster for Pak, it may not be a whitewash but a 2-0 to India is likely.

India beat Pak by an innings margin, like i predicted.

Kumble Destroyed Pak Batters (the so "called"), and Indian pacers (pathan in particula) fared much better than the crappy Pak pacers.

Shoaib is not crap and Yousef a "so called batter"?
