dibbly dobbly wibbly wobbly

Very 80s-90s ODI
But Neesham and CDG are nothing like that. CdG is obviously on the slow side for a seamer but everyone knows he's a legit bowler even in tests (for the most part the dibbly dobblies were not only slower than CdG but less legit as front line bowlers). Neesham is brisk. Weird comparison.

tbh my initial "how" was on the assumption it was a bad comparison to the dibbly dobblies. I'd be more prepared to accept that it's generally atypical to have 2 batting all-rounders bowling in tandem these days though.

Yea Southee and CDG were very dibbly dobbly. Nipping it around a bit.

Neesham didn't look that quick. Didn't pay attention to the speeds he was clocking up.

Not watching, how is Sodhi letting them go? Even though he ostensibly bowled well in the T20s, everything was coming out of the front of the hand - more like finger spin variations than genuine leg breaks and googlies

I didn't watch those games but he's bowling properly today.

Kohli and his weird vulnerability - if you can call it that - against leg spin continues. Great ball though, makes you think why they waited so long to give him an over.

Jadhav again? Why haven't we moved on from him yet? I mean he was good for a while, but surely Manish Pandey or someone would have been better. Pandey hasn't done that badly in his recent limited overs outings either, and is a gun in the field.

Jadhav’s a weird one. Wasn’t he tried extensively between World Cups, pretty much did well, but nevertheless got dumped for the World Cup? Seems almost cruel to bring him back now

it looks like he's bowling legbreaks but his googlies did look a bit odd.
