There's a logjam for top order ODI positions though. Young, Rutherford, Phillips, Rachin, Worker, Conway from Sept etc all in with a shot and no doubt even Munro might be still be in consideration.

I hope the idea of Munners in the ODI team is as extinct as the Sabre Tooth Tiger.

Shows you though that after being 2-0, we actually could have won this series. Not much needs to change for us to be a force at WT20.

Bring back Ferguson and Boult and you’ve got a heck of a pace attack. Bye bye Super Over Southee.

Actually the ODI side is pretty good if you use most of that team too.

For ODI side you probably want one more batsman... use both Philips and Conway in the long term. Nicholls and Latham around too (someone will replace Taylor soon you’d think). Plus Blundell I think still worth a go.

EDIT: Forgot Neesham as well. We SHOULD have a good ODI team when everyone’s on the park for gooooooooodness sake.

Taylor lost his hitting ability in the format for a long time which he’s now regained since his recall, so I reckon he’d be fine at 4 now, myself.
