He's not as destructive in test matches, although still pretty solid. Pujara is the one you should worry about in tests.

Rahane's crossed 500 runs in this game. Neat. He's off to a start, but needs to score a few big ones to add himself as an option to the top five. Maybe Pujara too, since ODI specialists are slowly losing relevance. Can't help feeling Rahane's missed out on bigger opportunities by refusing to open.
