India are ****ing useless. This is why they need to stop playing every home match on low, slow bunsens.
Have absolutely no skills for taking wickets on these type of pitches.
You'd think a bowler like Ashwin with 100 wickets in 18 tests would be able to run through a side on day 4, yet he can't get a wicket overseas, because he's been helped so much by conditions at home, and hasn't developed the requisite skills.

Everything about the direction of Indian cricket is wrong, and has been for atleast the last 3-4 years.
No, they just need to pick Ojha

It's a fine example of batting that strikes the balance of run-scoring and defense that is right for the batsman's style of play. When these two came in both runs and time were both of equal importance (and probably still are), so both batsman played in the way they were most comfortable with - for McCullum that's an SR of around 50 (after first playing himself in) and Watling around 33.

Oh, this is legendary. Feared the worst coming back from my lunch break just now, but I had nothing to worry about really.

Fox Sports robbed me of any potential 300 run partnership goosebumps by cutting to an NRL ad featuring Matthew Johns, Sterlo and Ben Ikin.

This innings has also been a massive **** you to all the people who say you need to stay positive to bat for prolonged periods of play. With good concentration, determination and the skills you can bat forever blocking the **** out of it.
Truth. It's a similar fit for a situation like the first innings, where the often prevailing thought of hit out before you get out is a weak bailout.

No one deserves success more than BJ, one of the best team men NZ has ever produced. If only we could clone him and get another non-keeping Watling at the top of the order
