I am going to say it now before the day has started - Sreesanth to make a huge impact with his bowling today.

Think we should be realistic here. If, by some miracle, we're (say) 300-2 at tea with KP & (say) Vaughan hitting their straps it's just conceivable we could then try to have a dart at it, but not losing is the first order of the day.

Personally I think we have no chance of the win; if we ever threaten to get close India will just switch to defensive mode & slow the over rate right down. Any team would.

I'm not being unrealistic, I don't think England have a chance of winning. I just think they should talk more positively.

Would love to see England go for the win, but it won't happen. They'll shut up shop as soon as they lose a wicket or two.

Care to explain? Tendulkar came in at 10 for 2 and with the ball moving around and the English seamers bowling as well as they have in this tour (albeit without Sidebottom), India could easily have toppled for 100. England would then have around 400 to chase, which would have been quite possible in four sessions and dire considering how well in control India were at the end of England's first innings.

By the way, I'm not commenting on Tendulkar being a failure under pressure, choker, etc. Just can't see how you can at Sanz's post. England would not have been in a "very strong position" to win, granted, but he has a point otherwise.

I was laughing at the fact that Enlgand would have been 'in a very strong position to win the test match'. Even if India had of been bowled out for 100, they still would have been 430 runs ahead and England would have needed to break records to win the test and therefore would not have been in a strong position to win the test match.

If England bowled India out for 20, they may have been in a very strong position as the momentum would have surely been with them, but even if England bowled India out for 70, India still have the strongest position in the test match.
