Need two of our guys to ton up big and for Kohli to get some form.

Was defending Dhawan a lot before thus test but I'd bring Gambhir in for the next match unless Dhawan makes a match saving ton in the second innings. Not only is he not making runs, he's also not eating up many balls before getting out. Awful combo overseas.

Clearly the best outcome for everyone (important) is for England to bowl India out twice before tea today..........so hope for that.
Hmmm, I have to agree somewhat. Everyone important will obviously play cricket themselves tomorrow, so it would indeed be best to finish this off today.

Feeling bad for Pankaj after watching the highlights. Bowled well first day and a guy who's waited years for a call up needs a bit of luck initially. He didn't get that. If that Bell lbw and that dropped catch had gone his way, his confidence would've soared.

Yeah gotta agree with this........0/146 doesn't do the lad justice at all, bowled well on debut.

Just goes to show that sometimes we can be really hard on our cricketers but this is such a fickle game. Pankaj could well have been 2 for not many (he should have had Balance early too didn't he or was that someone else?) and who knows what he would have ended up with, yet now the record books show 0/146. Conversely England are feeling like they've turned a bit of a corner, if his 95 gets Cook going again India could be in for a torrid time for the rest of the series..........and it all rides on a little bit of luck.

Come on India lets do this. Long batting line up, avoid follow on and lets go from there. Will Dhawan be dropped next match if he fails next innings??

Dhawan needs an extended run, Gambhir is hardly a step up, he's done reasonable well but I wouldn't want him batting for us in Australia. His time has passed.

Boom. Brilliantly bowled. Had him edging with a nice full one the ball before, then cramped him with the bouncer. Superb from Broadeh. Broadeh forever, Stokes never.

Pujara gone. Always rather an unlucky type of dismissal I think - he wasn't playing at the ball, just trying to get out of the way.

And Broad goes past Brian Statham.
