Yeah Joss could be in the 90s in a couple of overs at this rate - Cook wouldn't call them in then, would he?

Haha, I'm not entirely sure how he's contrived to be bowled by that.

Played, though. Unselfish knock.

Ick, Jadeja gets him. Still hastens the declaration, and not sure he quite deserved a ton for the early part of his innings. Pretty epic later half though.

Field going in for Woakes and out for Buttler is hilarious

Buttler in FC cricket: 2600 runs at 33, 4 hundreds
Woakes in FC cricket: 3980 runs at 38, 8 hundreds

Nah, it wasn't ridiculous at all given the way they were batting. Woakes was literally just looking to get Buttler on strike every ball and Buttler was looking to hit most balls for six. It was divorced from their actual quality as batsmen and entirely to do with counteracting England's pre-declaration batting plan. The best way to get Buttler out was to have men in the deep, and getting Woakes out would have been pretty irrelevant.

It was still funny given that stat, though.

Really curious as to what Cook's deal with gully is. Ganguly is right to point it out but it's not him being defensive; he just seems to dislike having one.
