***Official*** India in Australia

Personally, I think Aussie had some decisions go in their favour and India were unlucky as well. But the way they're acting is over the top.

Similarly I could say the Australians had Bucknor, Benson and Bruce to thank for putting themselves in a position where they could bowl them out.

But that'd be totally unreasonable of me right?
unfortunatly umpires will always make mistakes ,its just part of the game.It just seems like the India are so quick to accuse the aussies of beaing cheats or for not playing within the spirit of the game yet anything that they do is always justified.

In footballing terms it'd be like copping 8 dodgy penalties in the same match. Aussies taking the high ground telling us we should just accept it and move on is, well.....

The umpires can only be half blamed.
In my view/opinion the umpires should use technology for things that they r not 100% certain on. But then again we don't want to be total technological robots.

but its not the aussies fault about the poor umpiring.India claim that the aussies were not playing within the spirit of the game but yet it is india who are talikng about suspending a tour because they dont like the ICC decision, its india who have publicy had a go at the umpires and it was a indian player that made a racist remark who has since been defended by the rest of his side. How about when inidas last batsman came out with 2 rights handed gloves to waist time? is that playing within the spirite of the game?

Yep, it's the umpires fault and they handed you the game. Your players don't walk when belting it to slip and claim catches when they have either been dubious or clearly been grounded, and it's not possible that Ishant didn't make a mistake in the heat of the moment?

They're pissed off at Proctor because on the face of it he seems to have taken the word of your players over ours despite there being no other evidence.

It may be slightly extreme, but their stance is absolutely understandable.

Cricket as in life is not always fair, but life as in cricket has a thing called karma. ( this is all assisted by psychology) e.g. next time dravid bats, bucknor will not give dravid out unless he is 100% sure, simply because he is conscious that he has wronged him in the past and will be overly-conscious not to do it again. It is simply human nature, as is making mistakes.

I would be shocked if India got any close decisions against them next test, just because the umps would be over-conscious of the poor peformance in sydney.

The accusation against India regarding racism is what has caused all this to become a mess.

While I believe ponting would do anything to win that Sydney test (which was somewhat embarrassing), fabricating a story about a opposition player being racist(which may I remind some of the "what happens on the field" crowd is actually illegal not only in cricket but also in the nation of Australia) is not something he would do.

Sachin tendulkar has just messaged to the board president that harbhajan is absolutely innocent and that he was not heard properly at the ICC hearing by proctor.
If sachin who was standing closest to harbhajan and who is the the longest serving international cricketer has his testimony ignored while Clarke and haydens are accepted then
it can be no reason but racist bias.
If you even compare the history of hayden and sachin in terms of behaviour then also hayden is nothing in front of tendulkar.
Kudos to BCCI for showing proctor his place.

12 balls to survive with 3 wickets in hand and facing part-timers (and that's being very generous to Clarke)

Seems to me like India handed the game to Australia

As for Harby - repeat offender = zero credibility

there were 2 overs left and you had 3 wickets in hand, you should not of lost from that position

Whos decision is it to make when giving someone out? i though it was the umpires its funny the last 2 inidans to go out didnt seem to move to quickly did they?

sorry tough luck you have to except the ICC decision, you dont know all the facts involved

Iff india decide to leave this tour then the international sporting community should take action, why should we have a member that wants to make its own rules, every other country has to follow that ICC gudelines why shouldnt India? so if india quit they should have the commonwealth games and the world cup taken of them

Oh! bucknor has done it before and he will continue to do that.
He has given absolute shockers 9-10 of them against India during his career that is why there is so much agitation against him in india.

Wouldn't have got to that stage without blind man Bucknor. Glad to see you're taking the word of the oh so Aussie players and media in condeming Bhaj. Especially since Sachin has said he did nothing wrong.

Sachin said he didnt hear anything (not surprising from 22 yards away) - totally different scenario

Get over it. After all the decades of India being improperly treated by the ICC and London, they now have the financial clout to not be dictated to anymore. Good on em for acting when they suspect an injustice has occured.
