What's the problem with that decision? Looked good to me. Hogg's had a few good shouts, about time one was given.

Yes, unlucky that he had a brain explosion and played a horrible shot. The decision was fine.
He should have hit it...it takes away the luck element.
he missed it but he was trying to play a shot, he was as forward as anyone could be and there was no way the umpire could have judged the height of the ball by the time it'd have reached the stumps, there was a significant element of doubt there and the benefit of doubt usually goes to the batsman...anyway he is gone, no point in going on and on about it...

He was indeed far down but the ball hit him very low on the pad.

What I want to know, is why he stood around after being given out!!! I thought we'd ridded ourselves of this unsportsman-like travesty of ill thought out behaviour in Sydney...I'm off to write a poorly-worded column to the local rag! :happy:
