Argh - Hogg is annoying. He looks a decent bat. Anyone know if he can bat at the FC level?

Yeah. Averages almost 35 at first class level and has played some good innings for WA this season.

Hoggie slapping the bowling. Imagine the celebration after a Test 50 for him. Would even satisfy as hard a task master as SoC.

It works on a sliding scale though...anything less than him shedding his clothes and dry-humping both umpire's legs before lighting up the backdoor with a bic lighter and doing 4 laps of the oval will be a spectacular letdown for mine, given his current form.

Hogg is a good batsman if anything pretty underrated, off-late has been in good form with that bat at FC level and he played decently enough in the last test too.

If we can get 250 from this position I'll be pleased. We managed to beat England in Perth with 244 in the first innings. Different batting line up, I know, but shows it can still be done.

Hogg should've been gone. Lazy running and the wind kept him there. Playing with intent though, he really wants to wrest the initiative away from India.
