***Official*** India in Australia

Well Sreesanth is a lot more reliable than Munaf, FWIW, and actually has a stomach for a fight. Munaf still dwells in schoolyard reality.
I won't say both are reliable TBH Munaf is a more steady bowler compared to Sree Santh but his fitness sucks but would have liked to see Sree Santh in Australia it surely would have spiced up the Aussie summer!

Yeah I would pick Sreesanth if he's fit.

RP didn't look too bad I guess, just thinking if there is a time on a bouncy wicket like at the WACA where 3 fast bowlers might be required.

Can anyone see any Tests where India will leave out Harbajhan?
I certainly am hoping they pick Pathan for Harbhajan at the WACA. It'd be criminal not to. And looking at this match, it seems India need to bat to #9 at the minimum.

Yeah! That is missing ATM.

Well he's clearly horribly out of form, so its not like that was his deliberate game plan or what have you. Still think he looks like he could come good this tour and make a big hundred, and y'know maybe help India to a win at some stage. If Yuvraj doesn't do anything decent in this innings, there has to be some thought to dropping Dravid down to 6 and putting in Sehwag up to open I'd have guessed?
Reckon he can bat well with the tail?

LEE!!!! Does his work.

Sad to see Tendulkar leaving the MCG for the last time in Tests, but big breakthrough for the Aussies!!

if your top 7 don't get runs, then there's little point in picking a bowler that can bat.

Lee has assumed the mantle of #1 bowler in Australa so very very well. It's enormously pleasing for those of us who have been fans from his early days but have felt that he never quite stepped up to his potential.

Tendulkar Gone! Superb ball from B Lee.

Nicely set up! Poor shot from Tendulkar. Another ditched performance from Tendulkar when his innings is needed most!

No it wasn't a particularly great delivery....
A poor shot more like.
Totally misses the point. The bowling before that ball put the pressure on Sachin and Lee obviously then threw out the wide ball to tempt Sachin. And it worked. Excellent bowling, especially since Sachin has been out cutting (whether bowled or caught) a few times recently.

Once again Tendulkar FAILED to score big one in either innings under pressure. He just cannot SAVE a Test under pressure or single-handedly win one. End of dicussion. A few classy/flashy shots and that's it.

India made TWO HUGE mistakes even BEFORE the Test started.

Shuffling the batting order to accomodate a one-inning-dead-pitch-wonder Yuvraj to screw a TIME-TESTED Dravid (thereby denting his confidence) and preferring Yuvraj over Sehwag. BIG MISTAKE. What was Kumble thinking ?? Gavsaker called this one.

Second mistake was playing RP Singh instead of Ishant Shama. RP is a grat swing bowler in English-like conditions and playing 2 left-arm seamers with no 3rd seamer. Hello ??

Stick a fork in this one - this was over the minute India shuflled a well-settled and tim-tested batting order.

If anything this is one of his least-needed innings, especially for the series you'd think.

I think it was a well thought out dismissal by Lee after peppering Tendulkar with a few short deliveries and keeping a man at deep-find leg he created doubt within his mind and footwork he then bowled one a bit widish outside the off-stump and Tendulkar slashed at it without any foot movement.
