I don't undrestand what the problem with all India fans here is, our country has so many problems - lack of clean air, lack of clean water, lack of social security, lack of true democracy, caste discrimination, high drugs, high crime, high prostitution, extermely high corruption.


Notice that all Indians who are doing well are doing so outside this country, which means they do so with the help of foreign economy and infrastructure. We 're still a third world, the gdp per person in this country is 3000 times less than in the EU! The list is endless.


1 in every 28 ppl is black


1 in every 11 is white


1 in every 6 is Indian and in another 10 yrs it'll be 1 in every 4 YET we're so behind in everything we do! Yet we justify that by saying we have more computer programmers - what good is that all those ppl are helping the western economies more than us, the minute the West changes the markets we lose the jobs!

We claim that all our players are better than the Aussies, Pakistanis and Saffers and yet we have only one Tendulkar, one Srinath, one Kapil Dev, and one world cup!!! Why can't we learn from other nations and there fans.

I feel disgraced to call myself an Indian after seeing the fans on this forum - this tells us a lot about how weak we are that we need to argue and twist facts just to win some sort of discussion on a cricket forum!


Australia and many many more nations are way ahead of us, Australia won the most olympic medals in 2000, they're top competitors in 95 percent of the sports that they participate in - HOW COME THEY NEVER BOAST OR TAUNT US!


What makes me even more sick is when Saurav Ganguly runs around comparing himelf to Steve Waugh and calling the ICC biased - trust me guys he's making a fool of us, great personalities like Akram, Imran Khan, Botham, KApil Dev, Lloyd, Waugh are great enough to take criticism!


WE keep justifying our arrogance by comparing purselves to the Oz cricket team yet we fail to realise that they have a right to be arrogant because they are dominating the game - they are the strongest ever ODI side , statistoically speaking they are the STRONGEST test side also (based on winning percetages). lloyud needed 72 games to register 43 wins, Border needed 93 games but Waugh needed 52 games to register 43 wins! THESE GUYS ARE DOMINATING THE GAME! When we shall dominate the game then even we can be arrogant!


As for the fans who make such stupid comments - it just shows how much of pain they are suffering that they need to twist facts in order to suit themselves.

I don't know why anyone hasn't said this yet but this guy who has pointed out reasons why India should be proud is making a fool of us! I agree its something to be proud of but you don't need to post it on an international cricket forum. Why do you think the Poms, Aussies, Europeans, Japanese, Americans, Kuwaitis don't post such things - SIMPLE coz they're bigger than that!!!!

bottom line- stick to cricket and stop making a fool of yourself and the country you represent!!

Merry christmas to all of u. i am again making it clear that that the post which i made about indians had not intention to prove anything to anyone.i know it weasnt cricket, but still i wanted to post it. i am sorry if i offended anyone.

Due apologies to amit, but i dont share most of his view points.Though i support him and will continue to do so, when someone attacks him personally, i think it should not matter to anyone,afterall everyone has his own viewpoint.

Again i have never said anthing unreasonable about cricket on this forum.if u want to check u can read all my previous posts.i know there were a few fights with some really crazy people , but that were because i was supporting some one when all mem\bers were against him. AS for doing something for the country, i think that no one needs to prove what he is doing for his country.

Attention to the moderators: if anone is using the words"disgrace to the country" , please see to it.

india : almost 400
the second innings depends upon how confident australia are this time to enforce a win on their opponents by playing fast.
One thing if they would want to play too fast, i reckon they would lose.

first of all there are only poms, aussies and i think one european in this forum. secondly, u are a fool if u think all other countries have a greater list of things to be proud of. u have problems buddy, its fine to not put india up on a pedestal but ur post is basically an insult to the Indian community. if u don't like india or indian culture, then dont call urself an indian and stop insulting other indians in this forum like rajat.

Ermm.... I can give a big lecture but everyone is just fed up of talking about India here. Just one thing, Bihar is to India what Louisana is to USA . I think everyone knows that and those need not apply to every other state. What NRI's is indirectly helping India. Ok enough of this.

Chopra needs to score some runs as the Gautham Gambhir and Sanjay Bangar are piliing on runs in the Ranji Trophy and A matchs. I really admire Bangar for how he completely changed his gamestyle to suit the team when he played tests. He is an attacking batsman in domestic cricket.

Personally I have no problems with you're posts so far , but I get the feeling Amits will

You seem quite a well informed person so dont let Rajat , Jagaways , etc get you down (no one really pays any attention to them anyway )

Now for a much needed topic shift back to cricket , I reckon they will stick with Nehra over Pathan for this one , Pathan has been pretty impressive although quite erratic , Nehra seemed to be bowling within himself at Adelaide & Hobart but he has that little bit more experience & he bowled with nice control at times in the 2nd test.

As for Bracken or Williams I doubt there will be any changes , Williams IMO wont really trouble the Indians unless he gets a greentop but Buchannan was impressed with his attitude coming in to bowl after his injury so a 3rd test cap seems assured.

The rest of both sides pick themselves.

Since there is doubt over Nehra's fitness now , i think they will go in with Pathan.
