Its a silver lining. This entire series is pointless. No WC for 4 years, and a WT20 in an entirely different set of conditions coming up. Im happy for them to tank these games to develop some relevant skills and see what the youngsters can do.

Dont know if thats what these guys are trying to do though, but I sure hope it is. Such terrible, pointless cricket otherwise.

Gotta give a lot of credit to Smith here. Got the slip in and brought the field up as soon as the momentum shifted when Kohli got out. Pretty sure Mann and Dhawan would not have tried to belt it if it wasn't for Smith doing that. Slip to a guy like Rahane was also good from him.
