Lee is jumping on the Marsh bandwagon with more delusional relish than usual here.

Indian FC cricket must be in more trouble than I thought if Mann averages 20 and Rishi Dhawan 25.

Good field-placing from Dhoni when Jadeja was bowling to Smith, with slip, short cover and short mid-on...Well done!

Now get Bailey - don't let him settle.

It doesn't help that there's 27 teams in the Ranji Trophy. Means that there's just too many spuds playing and those who are good have heavily inflated figures.

Althought tbf there is a lot of talent in India. It's just not the kind of talent cut out for International cricket. The conditions they play in do not mirror International cricket at all. Rishi Dhawan would tear it up on a slow seaming minefield. Not on a hard MCG pitch. Plus the Indian quick bowlers are built to bowl day in and day out, hence the lack of speed and intensity. They try to crank it up at International level and break down as a result.

Bailey was no where near in this good form in the Big Bash
nah he was, averaged 60 with a strike rate of 150 and he was up the top of the shield runs scorers. he's been in red hot form all summer, people just under rate him and don't take notice
