I think what the innings needed was a quickfire 30-40 from the other end so Dhoni's wicket was crucial as well. Felt Kohli was a bit slow too.

Having said that, 309 was still a defendable total. The bowling has been dire.

This has been a complete doddle. We can't really blame our lack of hitters at all. They'd just barely started 'hitting' when the innings ended .
