Jesse Hogan tweeted that this was for a completed innings though, so I don't believe that the record remains. They were saying on the abc earlier that australia had broken the record for most runs without a single extra in a test innings when the score got to 329 here. Hadnt even been a leg bye apparently.
Yeah wtf.I still can't believe Yadav scored that 90.
All to blame but Dhoni deserves most. Australia were in a way worse position when their debutant got out.Nah. Dhoni.
I blame Lyon for dropping Rahane. Butterfly effect. Rahul came out and scored an amazing 184 in an alternate universe where Rahane was out.I blame Kohli for not farming the strike when Dhoni came out.
Then makes a very similar mistake the next ball...Nervous youngster makes mistake on debut. Understandable. But still ****ing stupid.
Hopefully he makes up for it in the second innings.
Yeah but people are advocating the inclusion of all rounders like a Jadeja who would bat in precisely the same way, instead of a genuine batsman at six.Dhoni was worse imo. Did you see his walk across the stumps? TWICE? After getting out the same way in the previous match????!!!!
****ing atrocious.
I really despise Dhoni at times. He seems to think there are shortcuts to score more runs and he just needs to find the next whacky unorthodox technique to survive and thrive rather than just try and improve as a test batsmen by leaving deliveries he doesn't need to play at and play with a straight bat until he gets set.Shami playing a better innings than Dhoni already.
