I was about to say that the Vijay wicket came from those two bouncers from Johno in that previous over. That Kohli strike made me reword what I originally wrote. Man, that was hard to watch.

Perfect fast bowling to get Vijay. Softened him up with a couple at the body, got the play and miss to a wider one last ball of the previous over then nicked off first ball of that one.

You look at the wicket ball and wonder why he played at it, but the set up was sublime.

I don't think I've ever seen a batsmen being hit not be awkward.

It wasn't like everyone was baying for blood before hughe's.
Morkel's over to Clarke at Cape Town was definitely had an element of baying for blood from the crowd

Well that's lunch and this little black duck is off to the pub for countermeal, hair of the dog and cricket on the big screen - god life is hard sometimes

It may well be coincidence but when Siddle went vegan he seemed not to hit the deck as hard. He claimed to feel fitter than ever which is probably true with regard to stamina but at the expense of power/strength. I remember him charging in and smashing the deck with all he had late in the day when everyone was stuffed. Maybe he was simply younger then or maybe its the bananas - hard to tell.
Didn't he go veggie before the last India tour? Or has he subsequently gone Vegan since?
