Hopefully Clarke is ok but he seems to breaking down faster than the plan for him to play through to the end of the ashes. Admire the bloke heaps but if he can't get through a day then maybe its time to step down. :(
In light of Clarke batting this morning I might have to own up to a red face over this li'l beauty. Still think he'll have to be a bit more realistic over managing his back and hammy though.

Just got home from work via the gym (no beach here) and TPC is batting with Clarke. Oh my.

To be fair he's dealt with whatever short stuff there's been very well, and any width has been hammered. I'm more surprised they haven't yorked him.

I mean, they could just be incompetent
Dunno why they don't try to get him stretching forward more. Maybe even bowl some slowish, wide filth* to get him stretching.

*tbf, Bhuvi is injured and Kohli hasn't bowled himself.

that's what they've been doing though and he seems to have invented a sort of scoop over point to deal with it.

He's more or less decided to bat like Sehwag really

Varun Aaron getting carted. After 20 overs his ER is 5.54. WTF, is he trying to make it t20?
he actually has bowled some very good balls, he gets carted a bit because he attacks so much, you prefer him to get hit for 4 over pitching as opposed to some of the short and wide **** shami has bowled

there's plenty of potential in aaron, if I was india id be getting an aussie or saffa bowling coach in to look after him because he's got the tools to be a top bowler they just need to get it out of him

The celebration when Clarke gets to a tonne will be interesting - but also interesting to note in general how the Australians have celebrated every success to date, kind of makes the NZ somber scenes look a bit silly in comparison.

yeah but 5.54 ER after 20 overs is ridiculous. Also it isn't like he is taking 5fers. Its Imran Tahirish
