Yeah, when I said it spun, I meant it was properly huge ripping late swing that simulated ripping spin.Nah the Steyn one was pure freakish outswing. This was pure freakish turn. There's plenty an SLA who couldn't turn it that much.
Yeah in the end it's kind of moot to compare them, they're both getting you out pretty much regardless of what you do.Yeah, when I said it spun, I meant it was properly huge ripping late swing that simulated ripping spin.
If you watch the hawkeye (Can't recall the word for the tech. replay) for this, Puajra played the line and this largely kept straight and moved a little bit. For that ball you could see actual huge movement from point of bounce.
Don't trust Ashwin to play an innings of this sort, tbh. For creaming 50-60 runs, he's good, but batting out 15 overs on the last day, I don't know. He did do it against West Indies, but here, no.Dhoni wasn't born to play bowling of this quality.
Our only hope is that Ashwin holds up for the day.
Yeah, Steyn's is a better ball, but in a funny way I think Johnson's is harder to play.Yeah, when I said it spun, I meant it was properly huge ripping late swing that simulated ripping spin.

Both were unplayable but Steyn's was better I think.
