A draw from even this position would be considered an opportunity missed imoIf India get to tea without any more wickets down, they should go for the win.. just a draw would feel like a loss..

There was nothing on hot spot. And the replays clearly showed the ball hitting the shoulders and not anything else.Iirc root got a similar one last year that wasn't overturned.
It's 200 runs to go ffs.If India get to tea without any more wickets down, they should go for the win.. just a draw would feel like a loss..
Manjrekar reckons the way Lyon looked at Kohli after those two scintillating 4's in last over, he would have taken his hat off for those strokes.
**** off Manjrekar.
Saying DRS should be being used, because umpires are more inclined to make decisions nowadays when it's in use. And I doubt in batsmen would've reviewed them because the ****s knew how adjacent they were.Dunno, what Red Hill is on about.
Making me want to start recounting decisions from the start of the match which were ignored by saying India cannot complain without DRS etc..
1h or so to tea.. a new batsman will take time to get used to the pitch so scoring rate will go down as well.. I doubt they should seriously consider the win till after tea.. 4/over for 35 overs with 8 wickets in hand.. if they can't do that it'd feel like a loss.A draw from even this position would be considered an opportunity missed imo
Nah, disagree. The way DRS works with the "There has to be 190% proof that the on field umpire was a fool" results in the third umpire generally not reversing decisions like those even if it's clear that it's not out. Ends up making both on field and third umpire look like nincompoops. There was nothing on hot spot. And the replays clearly showed the ball hitting the shoulders and not anything else.
Would have been pretty surprising if that wasn't overturned.
Yeh, and how was I "blaming DRS"? I'm saying it should be used.
Generally great. I think he's just a tad rusty.Ryan Harris looks pretty toothless in this match. I haven't ever seen him bowl. How good is he generally? His overall avg is fantastic though.
He's as good as Steyn, just not on the pitch as often.Ryan Harris looks pretty toothless in this match. I haven't ever seen him bowl. How good is he generally? His overall avg is fantastic though.
You're blaming the lack of DRS, which is what I was referring to when I said it wouldn't have made a difference with the second Vijay lbwYeh, and how was I "blaming DRS"? I'm saying it should be used.
A pity he's guaranteed to be in the box till he's Benaud's age, Slater and Healy too.I'm enjoying Tubby today but not Lee at all. I mean Lee would get nervous if Warner was batting. Mate.. the whole point is for the CBA to donate as much as possible. Lee in ODIs, might be an idea and on the Cricket Show, but not as a long term Test comm.
The way this guy is posting you'd think India needed 50 runs.Kohli being the master chaser must be considering the win seriously.. if he's there at the end I expect a comfortable win.

wow, that's a big callHe's as good as Steyn, just not on the pitch as often.
