Nice to see the bowlers follow the skipper's advice finally. Clarke called for the ball to be pitched up today (and punter) and to attack the stumps. We seem to have gathered together some bowlers who now realise 'the corridor' isn't leg and just outside. It's great to watch.
Tendulkar's shot was much, much more likely to result in a dismissal than Dhoni's six. Then Dhoni comes out and decides to be an idiot.
Yeah that was actually a really good shot if only to push the line a bit wider. Anything through/over cover is... not so wise.Tendulkar's shot was much, much more likely to result in a dismissal than Dhoni's six.
Yeah he had a long chat to Pattinson after he got Dravid, who then followed up with a few brilliant overs of exclusively full-pitched stuff.Nice to see the bowlers follow the skipper's advice finally. Clarke called for the ball to be pitched up today (and punter) and to attack the stumps.
Worked this time. Sachin was early into that driveOnly really works as variation. Bowl that way every ball and you lose a far bit of zip off the seam because of the flatter trajectory bowling from further away.
yeah exactly. No suprise he played it after Dhoni started to hit out.Tendulkar's shot was much, much more likely to result in a dismissal than Dhoni's six.
Has been since the beginning of the year.Indian cricket is on a verge of a huge decline in test cricket!!!
doesnt surprise me ...
Nah ****. Pattinson's off-drive between mid-off/cover, obvs.Dhoni's six was clearly the shot of the match.
You still worried Larry?yeah exactly. No suprise he played it after Dhoni started to hit out.
Exactly. How are you going to get out going through the line over a non-existent midwicket? He's not likely to miss it and none of the catchers are really in play. It's a percentage shot, especially when you play it as well as Dhoni and your defensive technique is so poor if the bowler is allowed to keep that line and length.Yeah that was actually a really good shot if only to push the line a bit wider. Anything through/over cover is... not so wise.
I share TC's and Spark's sentiments, that I want this over first, before I'm happy haha. You still worried Larry?
