Just arrived back from the Gold Coast so only just watched the highlights of day 1 then. Sad to see Hussey done-over through a lack of the DRS considering his LBW duck against NZ was result of a decision being over-turned by the DRS.

I'm not sure why the ICC doesn't just make the DRS compulsory for the sake of the players. I wonder if the Indian's don't want it so they can keep appealing for anything hoping that eventually the umpires give in whether it's out or not.

It does make you wonder whether it's the BCCI as opposed to the ICC who actually run the game. What will be interesting if Tendulkar gets out to a bad decision.

Incidentally, is it just me or is Zaheer looking particularly feminine with the new hair-do?
