If he bowls regularly the way he is doing now that would do Eng a world of good. Would be interesting to see his approach on pitches that don't suit him.

Nah he did it in the test matches and dicked everyone. Not the issue.

He got out on this same ground in the same manner even in the test series, the point is that standing outside the crease is a good option to counter swing, it should not be used on a pitch that has extra bounce, even MCG last game had a little bit of bounce. He can stand outside the crease on a normal pitch, not one with extra bounce.

The other thing is that not only is he standing outside his crease, but he's moving back at the last second for whatever reason and it's throwing off his balance imo. Kohli's at his best when he is completely still instead of moving back and forth trying to outsmart himself.

Pretty much the first deck with a bit of life in it for the summer. Kohli immediately looks rubbish. Gotten sick to death of the Aussie commentators talking him up this season, he is utter garbage outside of off stump on a pitch with any sort of bounce. Technical mess.

Silly shot from Binny. No need to try to 'break the shackles' or whatever. Just quietly rebuild the innings ffs. Would have looked really ugly if he mistimed it to mid off.
