Trust me, it happens.I think it's reasonable to say that Rohit speaking Hindi to Warner was unlikely. Possible, but unlikely.
If Rohit was out in the field and making a joke about Warner for his teammates benefit then yeah it's highly likely, but if he's making a point and talking to him directly with no audience other than perhaps the batsman at the other end, I don't see why he'd talk in Hindi.
The guy is legitimately brain-dead."I won't back down," Warner told Sky Sports Radio.
"We [Australian cricket team] play hard, aggressive cricket but we know what comes with it, sometimes you are going to get fined.
"We've just got to keep trying not to cross that line, because we're all about playing cricket the right way."
Oh absolutely. And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Rohit said every word in English, and Warner then said "Speak English". Frankly, nothing would surprise me with him.The guy is legitimately brain-dead.
Just saying repeatedly "there's a line that we don't cross" doesn't define that line nor prove that you haven't crossed it. It's complete empty words. Complete moron.
Because he's an idiot.Warner is too good a player to have to resort to below the belt tactics he is using. Why can't he just let his bat do the talking?
Why exactly is it an idiotic fiction?david warner being a complete pillock is news to no one, but the handwringing over this is getting to permanent eyeroll levels, especially with this idiotic fiction that we're on the verge of a fistfight.
To be fair, I wouldn't laugh too if someone accused me of breaching unwritten cricket rules / spirit of cricket when I didn't.Hendrix to be honest both sides been sledging eachother equally, yes Warner may have crossed the line, but if i was insulted in another language,it may Piss me off somewhat.Even tho i did it somewhat it was meant in jest,i don't think Rohit meant it in jest, from the shot i didn't see either laughing.
ThisOh absolutely. And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Rohit said every word in English, and Warner then said "Speak English". Frankly, nothing would surprise me with him.
But it's delusion to think that there's not sledging done deliberately in the "local" language on the field, maybe with a few choice English words thrown in here and there,
Neither Warner nor Maxwell bothered to use their eyes before they started to hurl abuse at Rohit. Even if it had rebounded off him (which it didn't) he's still entitled to take the overthrow.Hendrix to be honest both sides been sledging eachother equally, yes Warner may have crossed the line, but if i was insulted in another language,it may **** me off somewhat.Even tho i did it somewhat it was meant in jest,i don't think Rohit meant it in jest, from the shot i didn't see either laughing.
yes I agree, I just think in this specific situation it seems unlikely, given that Rohit was talking directly to him.Oh absolutely. And it wouldn't surprise me in the least if Rohit said every word in English, and Warner then said "Speak English". Frankly, nothing would surprise me with him.
But it's delusion to think that there's not sledging done deliberately in the "local" language on the field, maybe with a few choice English words thrown in here and there,
NZ, SA or Pakistan.Reckon?
Who's your pick then?
Nah, the logic is that the player is a cowardly **** who doesn't have the stones to sledge someone in a language they can understand.
Your mental space is half of your "cricketing skills" anyway. As opposed to the cowardly ****s who have to resort to sledging to get someone to play poorly than actual cricketing skills?
The idea of the pitch as a cauldron-like environment for batsmen in which your mental strength is tested by things other than your cricketing ability is not unanimously accepted. I'm not saying I have a problem with it, but for a lot of people the ability to cope with sledging is not considered part of your mental and/or cricketing ability.Your mental space is half of your "cricketing skills" anyway.
How on earth are Pakistan going to win the World Cup? They haven't won an ODI series in nearly 2 years. Younis is a disgrace to the format, Misbah is averaging 18 in the last 2 years, Hafeez is a failure outside the SC, Umar Akmal is unpredictable, and its not as if Safaraz, Hafeez or Maqsood have done much outside the SC. Hafeez still hasn't even been cleared either.NZ, SA or Pakistan.
I still think Australia's batting is too prone to the splutters, and I really think India's bowlers will struggle here. I know they're two of the favoured teams, and deserve to be. Just got a feeling neither will win it.
Because they're Pakistan. They can lose to Zimbabwe at this World Cup, and they can win it. At the end of the day they only need to really win 3 games in a row.How on earth are Pakistan going to win the World Cup?
