Whatever it takes!!!
How is there no discernible change to the action?

It's the most discernible change to the action.

There are times when action changes can be spotted easily on the TV but from the batsman's perspective sometimes its tougher.. Not sure if Faulkner's falls under that category but as a batsman facing up, it is not always easy to spot changes in actions which appear pretty obvious on the camera...

You only have to watch Raina in this innings to see why he's **** at the longer form of the game. He's all about nurdling and going across his stumps to work the ball. That ain't gonna cut it. Obviously you change your game from format to format but he relies on this method of batting heavily, even in defence.

It's a back of the hand delivery though. Going to be hard to hide that.

Funnily enough, for ages it has been a delivery that has always had success in the limited overs format though.. So perhaps it is not as easy to pick as it seems on TV...
I think it's more about the way it bounces and dips with the way it spins and the more loopy trajectory. I could be wrong about how easy it is to pick up though.

cant say i enjoy watching sandhu bowl that much tbh, real jammy sort of action and bowls a ****load of cutters. combine all that with the big **** off earring and the only thing i enjoy about him is that he plays for the bl00s
