Eng are bowling accurately but it's hardly threatening

Unfortunately, Watto just seemed content to let England bowl at him and pat it back like net practice (you could tell he wasn't thinking straight by the way he ran between the wickets) whilst Warner and Bailey both look completely out of form
Warner did look in woeful form but surely a guy like him would be better off slogging a few boundaries to get going rather than wait for it to return by prodding and nudging at it.

269's not a bad score, but it's not a good score either. It's a distinctly average score, especially considering the bowling, and not one that's going to win tournaments.

Huge turn from Tredwell that, lovely delivery. Really is an under-rated cricketer, excellent OD bowler, and a handy bat too. Big fan of the man.

Trdewell seems an awful lot better than he looks.

Which is like a fat, bald mental patient who's wandered onto the playing area with people being too English to tell him to go with the men in white coats with the syringes.

Get Root on with ball turning. Can squeeze more overs out of him while they under pressure.

And talking tactics, I thought England missed a trick by not calling for the batting powerplay in the 32nd or 33rd over.

The way we did it, off to a very good start and then sitting back almost ruining it and scrambling there thanks to some late hitting. Wasn't as if the bowling was very good was it?
"Scrambling there with some late hitting" is one-day cricket. Where have you been?

England's weren't great, given a good platform they lost wickets in the batting powerplay with Morgan and Buttler especially not doing the job. But this idea that you have to go at the same speed throughout the innings for it to count as batting well is such obviously complete tripe and it's a pain in the arse to keep hearing it.

A whiff of grapeshot from Ravi. Got away with it but he'll do better to stick to medium and try and cramp the width.

Yep, if Buttler or Morgan had done their job, we'd have got the 300, if both had, we'd of got a very decent score. they didn't so we didn't, very little wrong with the platform, for me.

You know what I mean, who would bank on Bopara performing to give us a half decent score after it nearly went belly up by losing a cluster of wickets between 33-42 overs.

Tredwell isn't rated because he hasn't taken a fc wicket this year

A decent batting lineup would attempt to smash him as he obviously doesn't have a great deal to fall back on and Eng only have 4 ffront-line bowlers

But this is Australia so they are just letting him bowl

You do realise this isn't FC don't you? He's done the same against every team he's played against so far.
