Once again Guyana have a lot of things to work on.

We need to work on our batting in First Class, unless our powerful bowling line-up can reduce teams to 100 every innings we may struggle, especially if Jenkins and Wilkes don't get going.

In one day, our bowling will have to restrict teams to around 200. Our batsman chased the 250 totals, but that isn't going to happen every game.

Positive signs though for early in the season.

hmmm, nothing at all to write home about, less said about ods is better, fc was ok, 1 win, 1 draw 1 loss, ah well. Can' t wait for the season.

That's massive :D

J Arlott not out 227 (170)
Ali Brown-esque.

FC decent - though I'd prefer not to repeat slipping away 381 for 4 against Warwickshire! Axelby looks to carry our OD bowling, it's probably our weakest point. If Singh keeps up hitting, though, we won't have a problem.

Three massive wins in the one dayers balanced against three massive losses in the four dayers. Looks like it will be a long four day season.

5/6 all up not too bad, although with random team selections it's impossible to judge how the season will fare. B Guy getting 9/43 against Tasmania in the first innings was interesting but it certainly looks to be a tight season in OD.

A solid showing from the boys in the trials.

4 Day results were good enough, however I think that a little work still has to be done on the batting. The bowling however looked quite good with Oliver Clarke charging to form. Eddy Tate's 14'fa against the bannana benders wasn't bad either.

The only real issue now comes with team balance. Shane Watson played just one game and returned figures of 4/33 and 5/28 proving that he may well be a viable 4th bowling option for the team.
The decision to go with either bowling all rounder joey schofield or batsman phil jaques to fill the final spot is definately an interesting one.

Things were solid in the shorter version of the game to with the bowling keeping things tight and the batsman getting the job done. Eddy Aitken bowled with a lot of nerves but showed he had what it takes and new wicketkeeper Rodney Wilson showed he could hold a bat and looks set to play a major role for Province this year.

Pretty happy with L Jewell getting 9, 7, and 6 wicket hauls in the FC games, and AB De Villiers with two big hundreds. 3 from 3 in the FC games is very satisfying.
