That was the test, bit of road IIRC, and to be fair even if you don't rate Mahela overseas, it was still a very strong Lanka batting line up, Dilshan was in gun form for a while back then.

Even during India's best years in Test matches (2008-2011), Dhoni hardly made major impact through his batting, most of the job was done by Sehwag and Zaheer followed by the trinity batting titans.
