I know the crims are going to whine about the pitch, but some of these shots are embarrassing.

What was that about Clarkeh?

Ok I'm going to pick gf up from work, expect Nevill and Johnson to have made their half centuries when I get back

Yeah as if the public doesn't hate him enough. Gotta wonder whether he'll survive to the next Test.

Aussies can't bat in slightly seaming conditions, sure. But this has been worse than any of us could have imagined surely. Imagine if it was really jagging.

Techniqueless hacks must always slog when in doubt. Aussies are always found wanting when they need to play the patience game.

Hey Spark, social - when I said this Australian batting line-up was mediocre and you disagreed. Remember that?

You were right. They aren't mediocre. They are worse than that.

This is a disgrace.

It was definitely partly "Go hard at the ball so it flies over the cordon"

Ajinkya Rahane of India dealt with similar conditions and scored a matchwinning ton.

David Warner did the same in Hobart. Aus just don't have enough good batsmen.
And they probably played and missed at least a dozen times in those innings

If Warner had been not good enough to nick the one he got today you never know, he could have repeated his Hobart innings. You can't underestimate the value of luck.

Aus still haven't played and missed once, and have had 6 slip catches. That will be a record, I guarantee you. Crazily bad luck.

We do suck though
